Wood firing - Atmospheric firing but the source of fuel is just wood.  No gas.  these firings are tricky because they must be monitored throughout. Types of wood influence colors.  Requires the consistent loading of wood to increase temperature appropriately.  Wood fired kilns can fire 3-5 days depending on size and type of kiln.
